At Learn with Aleks, we believe handwriting should be joyful, creative, and full of movement. That’s why our Scribble the Squirrel workshops are designed to help children write with confidence while having fun.

Our workshops bring handwriting to life through a unique blend of music, movement, rhythm, and play. Children explore how letters flow across the page using their whole body, developing strong coordination and body awareness. Alongside plenty of writing practice, they also enjoy fine motor activities such as cutting, sticking, drawing, and tracing to build the strong little muscles that make writing easier and more enjoyable.

Every session is bursting with colour, laughter, and creativity. Scribble the Squirrel, our playful mascot, guides the children through each step, encouraging them to explore, make mistakes, and celebrate progress. By the end of a session, children feel proud of what they have achieved and often surprise their parents with how much they can do in just one workshop.

Following the success of our early workshops, we launched The Handwriting Adventure Club at The Questors Theatre in Ealing. This is a small-group weekly class for children aged 6 to 10, offering consistent support and plenty of individual attention. Each week, children take part in activities that develop their pencil control, letter formation, spacing, and stamina, while also building their focus, confidence, and creativity.

Our sessions are filled with energy and imagination. Through rhythm, song, and movement, we help children turn messy scribbles into beautiful, flowing scripts. It is not just about neat handwriting – it is about helping children enjoy the process of writing, understand how letters connect, and feel proud of their progress.
