Maybe you’ve tried to help your child on your own, only to end up with both of you feeling frustrated.
That’s where I come in.
As a former primary school teacher, I recognise what children need help with. I give your child the individualised attention they need to build their academic skills and make them proud.
Pretty soon, your child is raising their hand in class and receiving positive reports from their teacher!
Even more importantly, I help my tutees gain confidence in their self-worth and ability to learn. I children view learning as an opportunity rather than an obligation.

I noticed you speak with an accent. Does that make it difficult for me or my child to understand you?
- During our first session, my students quickly realised that an accent is fine. We have fun together, and I help you learn effectively. Some of my students have stayed with me for four or five years. And because I’ve learned English as a non-native speaker, I can explain tricky grammar concepts.
Are your tutoring sessions online or in person?
- My private tutoring sessions are 100% live and virtual over Zoom. We’ll set up a schedule that meets your needs. I use an interactive whiteboard that helps you visualise the material and share this with you as a pdf after class. You can use this to review what we’ve covered during each tutoring session.
My child has special needs. Can you help them?
- I am happy to support children with special needs and their families. If you’re interested, I am glad to advise on behaviour management. I can also provide tools and strategies to help your child learn. (For example, how to practice reading with your child when I’m not around.) After each tutoring session with your child, I constantly update you so you know their progress.
Will I be locked into a contract? Is there a cancellation fee?
- I only want to work with you if it is helpful and makes sense for you or your child. Therefore, I don’t require any time commitments upfront; however, a two weeks notice is required should you wish to terminate our lessons. My students have stayed with me for as long as five years. However, you’re welcome to discontinue at any time.
How long can you tutor my child?
- Several of my tutees have been with me for many years. I only work with students when I can genuinely add value. While if your child doesn’t need me anymore, I will let you know.

- 10-lesson package: $400
