Hi! I’m Aleks—a qualified teacher turned tutor and handwriting expert on a mission to make writing fun!
Inspired by my passion for handwriting, I created Scribble the Squirrel—a playful friend who makes learning to write fun and exciting! Together, we turn scribbles into confident, happy writing.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Aleks work with our 5-year-old son during our six-week stay in London. Our son is on the Autism Spectrum, and finding someone with the right balance of patience, skill, and care was critical for us. Aleks exceeded all of our expectations.

Hi! My name is Aleks, an enthusiastic teacher-turned-tutor with a knack for helping children with their learning journey
I am a private tutor and lifelong learner.
I’m also a mother to a very active boy and a wife.
As an educator, I’ve seen first-hand how important it is to instil good habits in children and create a positive learning environment. That’s exactly why I created Scribble the Squirrel—to help children develop consistent habits and a positive attitude towards learning.
With over a decade of experience working with children of varying abilities, I’ve had the privilege of building strong connections with each of my students. These relationships are at the heart of my teaching, and I love seeing the progress and confidence that grows when children feel supported and encouraged.
